Trusted Panel Members

In addition to the core services provided, families also benefit from the knowledge and dedication of trusted panel members. Each member of the Finley James Panel brings their own expertise, training, and personal insight, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive and compassionate support throughout their family court journey. This carefully selected network of professionals works alongside Finley James, combining specialist skills and experience to deliver consistent, high-quality support tailored to each client’s needs

Mr Anderson has been working as a McKenzie Friend for over eight years, supporting more than 100 families each year through one of the most difficult times of their lives — the family court process. As a father of five, he understands first-hand the emotional strain and challenges families face when going through separation, disputes, or child arrangements. Having personally been through the family courts himself, in both public and private law proceedings, he brings unique insight into the realities parents face inside and outside the courtroom.

His approach is simple: he provides clear, straightforward advice, translating complex legal language into something easy to understand. He focuses on giving parents the knowledge and confidence they need to move forward, whether that means working towards resolution outside of court or feeling fully prepared to step into the courtroom.

Each year, Mr Anderson dedicates a week in June to pro bono work, offering his services free of charge to families who need support but may not otherwise be able to access it. His mission is to ensure that no parent feels alone in the process. With the right support and guidance, he believes every parent can approach their case with clarity, confidence, and dignity.

Mr Anderson holds extensive qualifications in safeguarding, child mental health awareness, counselling, and more, all of which underpin the guidance he provides as a McKenzie Friend. He is also a proud member of FindAMcKenzieFriend.com (Membership Number 2803) and gained membership into The Law Society in 2024.

My qualifications as a McKenzie Friend are diverse and extensive, allowing me to offer comprehensive assistance. These include:

• Safeguarding Children Advanced Level 2

• Safeguarding Adults Advanced Level 2

• Child Mental Health Awareness Level 3
